Not everyone enjoys diving into a chilly bath. On the other hand, taking the benefits of ice bath will benefit your physical and mental wellness. Immersion in cold water has been utilised for health and wellness for millennia. 

The following are some benefits of having an ice bath: 

  1. After exercising, taking an ice bath helps minimise swelling, improve your mood, and ease discomfort.
  2. A cold bath may help soothe tight muscles. 
  3. Your blood vessels expand (or reopen) after you get out of an ice bath, which improves circulation.
