Im thinking about getting a taper fade but Im not entirely sure how it differs from other fades. Ive heard its a gradual fade that starts high and tapers down, but does it work with all hair types? A taper fade haircut seems like a popular choice for those looking for a clean blog, sharp look.

Also, is it easy to maintain or does it require frequent trips to the barber? For reference, I have curly hair and Im looking for a clean, sharp look thats versatile for both casual and professional settings.
