Good point. vCard versions are important because different devices and applications may require different formats. A single tool to convert Excel to VCF should allow you to choose the version of the file so that the contacts exported from Excel to VCF are compatible with the device where you want to import them. In fact, the Softaken Excel to vCard Converter is supported by vCard versions 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0, thus allowing a wide range of devices to be used. It doesn't matter if you are loading data to older systems or to the latest smartphones, the Excel to vCard converter tool will handle the versioning for you. It is recommended to always verify the supported versions before performing the conversion.
