How to convert Excel XLS or XLSX to VCF for Android contacts?

I have a large list of contacts saved in an Excel file (XLS/XLSX) that includes names, phone numbers, and email addresses. I want to transfer these contacts to my Android phone, but Android only supports importing contacts in VCF (vCard) format. I tried syncing directly from Excel, but that does not seem to work. I am also concerned about keeping all contact fields mapped correctly (like mobile number, email, company, etc.) and avoiding data loss during the conversion. What is the best and safest way to convert Excel XLS or XLSX files into VCF format so they can be easily imported into Android contacts?

Excel XLS or XLSX files cannot be exported to Android without vCard, so you can convert to VCF for Android contacts using an experienced and safe tool that supports all VCF versions. I suggest a trustworthy tool like SoftakenSoftware Excel to VCF Converter for better conversion because it is very simple and useful, especially for non-technical users. There are a few steps to converting a large Excel file to a vCard format.

  • First, download and install the tool on your computer.
  • Open it and click on Add File to select your Excel file that contains contact details like name, phone number and email.
  • Make sure the data is correct.
  • Next, map the Excel columns with the contact fields shown in the software.
  • After that, select a location to save the VCF file.
  • Click on the Convert button to start the process.
