Yes, compatibility is really the main point when you are working with contacts from different devices. I had to deal with files from old phones, which were using vCard 2.1, Android exports were in 3.0, and the latest iOS exports were in 4.0. Most of the converters are not capable of handling such a mixture but GainTools vCard to CSV Converter was able to identify all three versions perfectly. I was able to convert VCF to CSV in a smooth way without any contacts being skipped. The free demo was my means of testing the results before looking at the entire batch. After conversion, contacts' data, such as names, emails, phone numbers and addresses, were retained. This is a great help for those who have to deal with multiple client contact lists and want to ensure that the data is consistent across different devices and platforms without the need for manual fixing of fields. __________________
