Yes, most of the Office 365 migration tools have a filter option and it is quite helpful when you don't want to migrate all the data. In my experience, it makes migration more controlled and less messy. I used Softaken Office 365 to Office 365 Migration Tool, and it provided me with easy filter choices where I could select emails by date range, folders, or even certain mailbox items. This made me migrate only relevant data instead of everything which saved time and storage. I appreciated that it didn't take any technical procedures to use the filters. It took a lot of the pain out of migrating and took a lot of tension out of it, especially with huge mailboxes.
